INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers confirm that one person is dead after a shooting early Saturday morning.
At 3:55 a.m., IMPD officers were called to reports of a person shot in the 5100 block of West 38th Street, on the northwest side of Indianapolis.
Two people were found suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were first reported to be in critical condition. But just before 6 a.m., IMPD says one person died while being transported to the hospital.
The other person shot is still in critical condition.
IMPD said if a suspect is in custody.
