INDIANAPOLIS — A man is injured after being stabbed in downtown Indianapolis early Wednesday morning, according to police.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said officers responded to the 400 block of East Ohio Street on a report of a person stabbed around 6:30 a.m.
Officers arrived and found an adult male victim with stab wounds.
Police said the victim is in serious, but stable condition.
The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived, IMPD said.
An investigation is ongoing.
