Man dies in shooting outside The Mucky Duck
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A disturbance between two people at a south side bar early Thursday morning ended with an uninvolved person being fatally shot, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
The shooting happened around 1:35 a.m. outside of Mucky Duck Pub off East Southport Road and McFarland Boulevard.
IMPD Night Watch officers told News 8 when officers arrived, they found the man suffering a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a hospital, but died a short time later.
Officers spoke with several witnesses at the bar, who said a disturbance between a female and another male led up the shooting. Somehow, the victim became involved, but he was not involved in the initial disturbance.
